Jennifer Lawrence has opened up about having a baby after having a baby in January.
The Hunger Games actress welcomed a baby girl along with her partner Cooke Maroney in February 2022. She kept the baby’s name secret. The actress has now been confirmed to have an infant boy named Cy, after the American artist Cy Twombly.
According to Vogue in Vogue, she stated: “It’s so scary to discuss motherhood.
“Only because it’s different for everyone. If I claim, ‘It was incredible right from the beginning, Some people might say, ‘it wasn’t for me initially”, and then feel guilty.
“Fortunately, I have many sincere friends.
“Who thought”, It’s scary. It’s possible you don’t get it immediately. It’s possible that you won’t be in love immediately. So I felt at ease to forgive.
“I remember walking with one of my best friends at, like, nine months, and being like, ‘Everyone keeps saying that I will love my baby more than my cat. But that’s not true. Maybe I’ll love him as much as my cat?”
She continued: “The morning after I had my baby, I felt as if my entire life was re-starting. As if it was the first day of my existence. I was staring.
“I was so overwhelmed with love. I also was in love with all the babies around me.
“Newborns are amazing. They’re the delicate, pink, swollen tiny survivors. Today, I am amazed by all babies.
“Now I hear a baby crying in a restaurant, and I’m like, ‘Awwww, preciousssss.'”
